In this dissertation I am going to be talking about the City Of Leeds and how they have changed within the last 100 years. I use chosen to research the City Of Leeds because I feel they have prospered over the years, and I would be interested to research the factors that have contributed to this becoming among the largest urban centers in the United Kingdom. Manchester started off being a small community with a populace of about 200 (in 1086). The town was founded by Lord with the Manor, Maurice De Gant, in 1207. The factors I will be concentrating on to demonstrate the trend of change in Manchester are the Economy, Immigration, Human population and Full.
